All the staff at Mission Travel are passionate about travelling with purpose. We’d love to talk to you about your plans or how to travel with purpose. Our team can craft an itinerary that can simply take you interstate, or to the ‘ends of the earth’ mission fields, or anywhere in between – we’ve been there!

Deanne has kayaked around the islands of Thailand, ice skated in London, thrown around in a 4WD on a Dubai Desert Safari, driven the Amalfi Coast, walked the Abbey Road crossing and met Mickey Mouse at Disneyland.
Finishing university with a Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Deanne won a scholarship to travel to London and worked on the TS Queen Mary in 2008.
She enjoyed working, living and shopping in London. Before she left, she thought a 21 day Contiki around Europe would be a marvelous idea (and it was!).
Deanne later returned home and has had the travel bug ever since. She has travelled for pleasure but also travelled to contribute to the lives of others. In 2012, Deanne went to Cambodia on a mission’s trip as a documentary photographer with an NGO. After this trip, Deanne completed a year of her Masters of International Aid and Development.
She loves combining all of her life skills and using them in a way of helping others seek first the kingdom of God.

Dutch born but internationally raised, Maja has had the opportunity of living in 6 cities over 2 continents in her lifetime. Travel has always been a huge part of her childhood and youth: starting with family road trips to France for summer vacations and Switzerland for Christmas, to flying to other countries across the globe. At the age of 18 she ventured to Sydney for Bible College, fell in love with Australia, and hasn’t left since.
After many previous travel experiences (both personal and professional) Maja is honored to be combining her love for God and travel in one place – at Mission Travel. If you have any questions or queries, no place is too small or too hard or too remote to get to; name the place and we’ll get you there. Travel has always brought Maja a huge sense of adventure, joy and happiness – now let us help you experience that for yourself.
I have been in and out of the corporate travel industry for approx. 15 years and spent 3 and a half years of that time was working in London. Some highlights of my varied travel past include skiing in Bulgaria, helped native Spaniards learn English near Madrid, danced with Jedi’s, knomes, princes and mermaids to name a few characters (all in costume) in the pretty English seaside town of Looe on New Years Eve. Was confronted by a curious hippo on night on my way to the pit toilet whilst camping in the Okavango Delta, speaking to monks and locals all around Myanmar, attempting to circumnavigate Mount Fuji with a local friend only to both realise it will take longer than an half a day to do so, and turning up by boat at the Perentian Islands on the calculated risk that I could pick accommodation on the spot. It was the right gamble, and taking my nephew on a holiday resort in the Philippines and not realizing that was the first time he had ever seen the ocean.
I have also studied integrative medicine and work at a voluntary capacity with Initiative of Change.
