All the staff at Mission Travel are passionate about travelling with purpose. We’d love to talk to you about your plans or how to travel with purpose. Our team can craft an itinerary that can simply take you interstate, or to the ‘ends of the earth’ mission fields, or anywhere in between – we’ve been there!

Originally from Sydney, Julieanne has had the opportunity of living in 4 cities over 3 continents in her lifetime. Travel has always been her passion: she started a career in travel at the age of 18, and at the age of 21 she headed over overseas for a 6 week adventure which turned into 5 years of living and working her way through Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Julieanne spent the last 17 years working for Flight Centre in which she combined her love of travel and people. Her favourite destinations are of course Bali, and more out of the ordinary places like Egypt, Norway and Borneo.

Keen to explore her Italian heritage Maria has returned to Italy on multiple occasions to immerse herself in the language and culture and indulge her passion for Italian food. Her other interests include reading, nutrition, interior design, singing in the church choir and family and friends.
A Melbourne girl born and bred, Sarah has had a love of travel for as long as she can remember. At last count, she has visited 30 countries, mostly in Europe – her travel first-love. She particularly loves exploring Eastern Europe, and the UK (where she had the opportunity to live) but other favourites include Iceland, Norway, Italy and Switzerland. When travelling, she really enjoys hearing people’s stories, exploring the food culture and photographing stunning scenery and streetscapes.
Before making the move to the travel industry, Sarah looked after the finances for a Christian not-for-profit whose work was based in India, and has also worked in her church. She understands the many challenges charities face, especially in the areas of cultural differences, tight budgets and in meeting compliance issues.
Sarah’s true love is Quenten, and they have been married for over 25 years. She enjoys baking, reading, renovating and recently started providing respite care to a couple of young boys.

Tyson has had a passion for travel from a young age and is really interested in those destinations which most consider unordinary. He particularly loves the ins and outs of air travel – he’s a self professed “avgeek” and has a wide degree of knowledge when it comes to global airlines, no matter how obscure, as well as a fantastic knowledge of airline fleets and what that means for travelers. So far he has travelled to 13 countries – his favourite destinations are South East Asia, France and Switzerland.
In his spare time, Tyson is a mad skier (giving him great knowledge of foreign and domestic ski resorts), hiker and loves an adventure. He also enjoys studying foreign languages. (He can speak French conversationally).

So far Matt has visited seven countries and has a very long list of places he wants to go. His favourite part of travelling is being immersed in a different culture and trying all the different foods! He is really grateful that he can work in an area he enjoys while serving God's people.
Matt also plays multiple instruments and is involved in many music ministries including leading a band at his church. In his spare time he loves to play and watch basketball with his friends. Before moving to Mission Travel Matt studied and worked for several years in sound production.
